Baseball Bases
We probably don’t need to tell you how important baseball bases are for a baseball game. They help to keep track of the progress of the game and determine the outcome of plays. The bases provide a way for runners to advance around the field and score runs. They also create opportunities for defensive players to make plays and get outs, adding excitement and strategy to the game.
We stock all parts for a baseball base set including rubber bases, straps and pitcher’s plates to ensure a great game. Further information is available at the bottom of this page.

What are the 4 bases called in baseball?
As you know, there are four bases in a game of baseball; the home plate, first base, second base, and third base. The bases are usually placed in a diamond or square shape starting with home plate.
What is the hardest base to play in baseball?
Arguably, this answer is different depending on which player you speak to but generally speaking, the hardest base to play is the shortstop. It's one of the hardest positions to play on a baseball diamond because playing shortstop means you have to cover the most ground of any position on the infield. Lots of moving left and right, and sometimes into the outfield for short fly balls.
How baseball bases are used in the game
Bases are used to track the progress of the game. When a batter hits the ball, they need to touch all four bases in order to score a run.
The defensive team tries to prevent the batter from reaching all four bases by throwing the ball to the base before the batter can touch it.
